# Change widget type (in dashboards)

When copying (or editing widgets) it would be great if it would be possible to change the widget type. For example, I’ve created a pie chart widget but realize that it would be better to show this data as a table instead.  
By being able to copy an existing widget – or change its type – I would not have to start from scratch with filters and other adjustments I’ve made.
