# Different outcome of tracking

Hi,

I wonder if you could help me look into the discrepancies we have with tracking of Piwik and GA4 at the same time. In two cases, there is acceptable deviation (as high as 10% difference), but one case shows much larger numbers for Piwik.

1.)  
Piwik  
|Page views| 2,107,387 |  
|Visitors| 221,249 |  
|Sessions| 449,590 |

GA4  
|Page views|1,105,361|  
|Visitors|119,654|  
|Sessions|205,352|

This is difference of 50-90%. Could be it has something to do with the website is oriented for the US market?

Many things can have affected these numbers. We created a blog that explains many reasons:

Have a look at it and see if any of the situations is the case on your site as well.  
What is the timeframe for these numbers?

thanks for the quick reply, I already checked the blog article. I was just wondering whether it could be something else, as the setup is same on all of the accounts. The time range I am referring to is the whole of August.
