# Enhanced Time Period and Aggregation Options for scheduled reports

### **Feature Request: Enhanced Time Period and Aggregation Options for scheduled reports**

#### **Current Limitation:**

Right now, users cannot:

- View the **entire current year** with data aggregated **per week or month** in scheduled reports
- Select certain useful time periods (e.g., “last month,” “current year”) for reporting.

#### **Suggested Improvements:**

**Expand Time Period Selections**

- Extend the existing **“Report data for”** options to include:
  - Last week
  - Last 7 days
  - Last month _(new)_
  - Last quarter _(new)_
  - Current year _(new)_ (if user would choose this, report sent april 1 would show data of 1 jan until april 1, grouped by day/week/month)

#### **Benefits:**

- Provides **better context** in dashboards by allowing longer time ranges with logical aggregation (e.g., seeing weekly/monthly trend for current year).
- Enables **more flexible trend analysis** with additional period selections.
- Ensures **consistency** between scheduled reports and dashboards.

#### **Example Use Case:**

A user wants to:

1. View **the entire year-to-date** in a dashboard (and see data grouped by day/week/month/quearter)

With these changes I think all desired scenarios will be possible
