Hi there,

I would like to use a lookup table to lookup a value that matches a given input pattern and make it available in a variable.

GTM comes with this by default, can I acheve something like that in Piwik Pro as well?

Thanks and Regards
Nils

Hi @nila

At this point we don’t support lookup tables in the Tag Manager. You can achieve similar effect by creating a variable that is JavaScript function that will return the value based on the parameter.

Also feel free to add a feature request in our [Request a feature & Roadmap](https://community.piwik.pro/c/request-feature-roadmap/10) forum section.

Hi @maciej ,

Sorry to jump into this topic and ask for more, but is it possible to get an example of how this JavaScript Function would look like/be written? I can imagine this would be helpful for us that don’t have much experience with JavaScript functions.

Thanks in advance.

Hi. We’re currently working on the Lookup table variable. @Maciej_Kowcun should be able to share ETA once we have it. 🙂

Hi,

We plan to release lookup table (without RegEx) in the next version (16.33.0), which will be released in December.
