# Piwik PRO and Matomo

I see this message on the help file " In Piwik PRO, we’re working on changing the `_paq.push()` command to `_ppas.push()` so that it doesn’t interfere with Matomo. "  
What’s the expected release date for this?

Hi Anil!  
Yes, it is true that we are going to be switching to `_ppas.push()` in the future, however, it is not on our short-term roadmap right now.  
The switch from `_paq.push()` to `_ppas.push()` is mostly likely to happen in the next 12 months.
