Hostname/Domain not available for Custom reports/dashboards

Hi all,

I just found out that domain/hostname is not available when creating custom reports or dashboards, I can see only full URL. It seems to be available only in the standard reports overview as "Page URL (domain).

Is this normal and does it mean I need to create a custom dimension to get hostname?

Hi @Pavel_Krejci,

You can use the Extraction feature to get the domain:

Click the little arrow icon and select the dimension Page URL (domain)
