Devices & software as variables

Hi there,

I was wondering if there is an already established best practise using Piwik to get the devices & software as variables. Example get the OS and used browser, as its shown in the reports, to configure triggers and so on.

Has anyone already been using the parameters as variables and is willing to share how its done? Are there in build features in the tag manager or is a custom JS needed?

Hi Martin,

With Tag Manager only, you would have to use native JavaScript methods to get those values as TM Variables.

With the use of our Customer Data Platform those variables are built-in so you can use them to trigger the tags you need.
