Hello,
Events related to the consent banner account for a large proportion of monthly action usage. More than a third in most of the instances we have access to. “Consent form impression” is by far the event that consumes the most actions.
An option to stop tracking these events would be welcome.

Thank you for your input. We did get some similair requests in the past but it’s not currently on our roadmap. I’ll pass your feedback to our team.
In the meantime, you can use our setCustomProcessing method to “block” the consent events when they’re detected.

Thanks for the tip about the setCustomProcessing method; we’ll be implementing it on all the websites where we’ve installed Piwik PRO.
Hopefully, this will become an option in the site administration panel.
