Feature request: Tie Diagram line/bar color to Metric Data

The more I use Piwik, the more I love it. But then you always want more. I can’t find a way to change the color of diagram lines or bars. It would be great if that would be possible. Even better if you could tie a specific color to a specific metric data. I have a custom metric called “Portfolio” (it is actually a Dimension value group). The Portfolio dimension can have eight different values.
It would be great if I could decide that:

Portfolio A always is Blue
Portfolio B always is Red
…
Portfolio H always is Green

This should be a global setting that impacts all diagrams everywhere.

Hi James, I was not aware that it was possible to make your own scripts like that. Where / how do you implement them?
