I would like to support the idea of a “master filter” for a dashboard raised in a previous issue.
Oftentimes a dashboard is used to collect data about a collection of pages or type of visitors. It is tedious to have to adjust for this in every single widget. It would be great to have a filter that could be applied to all widgets in a dashboard.
I’m aware that I could also use segments for this but I feel that this can clutter the segment list. We have a very large website (with lots of web analysts) so we already have enough segments in our Piwik instance, I feel
