_pk_id and _pk_ses cookies are present before consent

Hello,

We utilize the Piwik Pro Consent Manager and prioritize a privacy-friendly implementation, which includes no cookies and requires consent for tracking. However, we’ve noticed that as soon as our site loads, ‘id’ and ‘ses’ cookies are present, as shown in the attached screenshot (from our own testing site, which uses the Piwik Pro WordPress plugin).

Do you have any suggestions on how to prevent this?

Hi @dieter_v,

If you’d like to completely eliminate the tracking before consent is given then you should head to the Administration module, select your website, click the Privacy tab and view the Consent settings section. You simply have to turn off the Collect anonymous data from non-consenting visitors setting.
