Cookie banner for cookie information not showing

I have the essential subscription of cookie information, and I have added the cookie information tag on Piwik’s tag manager. I have followed the instructions given in the tag description, but despite the tag firing successfully, I’m not able to see the cookie information consent banner.

Do I need to manually add the cookie banner to my website?

I was under the impression that we don’t need to since it is not mentioned in the integration instructions. please help.

Hi @kartik ,

The Piwik PRO tag for cookie information is for synchronising the user provided consent decision.
It will not add the Cookie Information consent banner.
