Delete spam traffic from already collected data

One of the websites where we installed PWP was recently hit by a spam bot that created extortionate amounts of fake pageviews of our 404 page. We have filtered out the IP addresses that were causing this and we’re also no longer firing the PWP pageview tag on the 404 page. Which kind of solved the issue since.

However, our data from before the data the fix was applied are distorted. Is there any way to delete specific already collected data from PWP so that our historical data display correctly?

We’re also getting a notification that we’re exceeding the data collection limit, which is caused by the same issue.

Hi @LoneWolves,

There is no option to remove already tracked data. You can use segments and filters in analytics and also you can use notes to mark the date that the bot traffic spiked up.
