For the free Core Plan there is no choice in datacenter locations (which I totally understand of course, after all it’s free).
Datacenter is located in Germany, but does that mean that website visitors from for example the USA have to connect with the Germany datacenter to get tracked by PiwikPro? Or is PiwikPro using a CDN?
Hi. We’re not offering CDN by default because of privacy reasons. Using CDN means sending IP addresses of visitors to multiple locations around the world. Our tag manager by default supports CDN setups, so you can configure CDN on your own and point it to the origin URL for a given container.
