How to create a hidden event that is captured in metrics

I have the need to create hidden custom events that would “tag” content with a category item, that can then be measured in Piwik Pro. Our need is to tag all our content from this category list, so we can do some internal ROI ranking.

What I’m envisioning is that we create a custom event trigger that hits on page load, which Piwik Pro could pick up, but would be invisible to the end user.

Any ideas on how to do this?

What is the definition of hidden custom events in this case? Can you elaborate on the “tag” content part?

The visitors will not be able to access the custom events that are sent to your Piwik PRO server unless they know how to read the data in the network tab section in the browser when they visit your site.
