The new real-time dashboard is great and a feature we have been looking forward too. However, The session metric and related dimensions are not available and much needed in terms of goals, traffic etc.
Are these improvenments already scoped?

It’s because these dimensions are calculated based on a ended session, while real-time reports are based on open session. That’s why dimensions you mentioned are not available. You can find more info in our article: Use real-time dashboards for live traffic monitoring | Piwik PRO help center
