USER ID - Company name as custom variable

Hello,

I have a GDPR question.
In the user_id tracking, if I add as a custom variable “company name”: is it GDPR compliant?

I would say yes:

  • It is not a PII data but a B2B data
  • The user_id itself allows me to find in my CRM the exact customer

PS: we are a B2B company.
