Why SPA or Track page views in a single-page application is enabled by default for Analytics? For a normal website is it advisable to turn it off?

Hi. Standard pages don’t utilize the history api, so this tag simply won’t be triggered. If you have some redundant events you can simply disable it. The point here is to make sure that we can track page views for both standard pages as well as SPAs.
