You may have noticed a yellow warning banner in your Piwik PRO UI. We have previously delayed deprecation of older versions of the Looker Studio connector in order to add features that users may have missed due to how Google handles connector credentials for approved connectors (more details here).
We are setting a new deprecation date of 31/03/2025. The verified connector will be the only one supported in the future. Versions below v1.4.0 will be removed.

Are there any known issues with this connector that lead to the connection getting deleted every now and so often?
I am migrating an existing connector to 1.4.1, and it has happened to me now twice in the last 2 days that suddenly I see only “Connector Configuration errors” in the dashboard.
When I go to the Connector settings, I see that the client I have set up there is no longer selectable, only another client (the first client I connected the connector with).
I then have to go through the whole setup again (add credentials etc.). Then it works for like a day, and then it breaks again.

Haven’t seen issues related to being deauthenticated after some time, only with first time authentication.
Would you mind sharing the exact time when this error happened or when it happens again? We’ll try to search for the logs. Oh, and the client’s account/instance name would be useful too.
