Event type in user flow reports

Could someone tell me why I’m not able to change EVENT TYPE (see it shaded in below) when creating a custom user flow report?

Meanwhile, under Goals > User Flow, there is an option to choose “Goal Conversions” as seen below. I’d like that view in my own custom report but can’t seem to find that option. Any ideas?

You have to change the user flow mode so that it’s calculated for all events rather than only page views. That option will unlock the ability to change the event type.
