We experienced quite a drop in conversion amount and value when we migrated the Google ads tag to PPTM. As this is quite unusual we setup an experiment where we are tracking Google Ads conversion through 2 different tags.
There is 6:1 ratio where GTM tracks 6x more conversion amount and value.
What we have implement so far to rule out set up issues
- No consent required as we are located in Switzerland, ignoring DNT
- Moved PPTM to to rule out the issue
- Implemented Google Ads Remarketing Tag
- Implemented Google Conset V2 with default granted
- Made sure priorities are set up correctly for PPTM
Did anybody experience the same issue. If yes, how were you able to solve it ? Somehow the other tags seems to be working fine.
