I get all sorts of iPhone models reporting as “Phablet” device type. I get why the big ones might count as phablet, but even regular and smaller phones like iPhone SE? That can’t be right. Overall though it is only about 2-3% of monthly visitors and most other iPhones comes in as smartphone correctly. So it seems like the tracking is not registering the device type correctly always. Regardless, I don’t really want any devices to show as Phablet. What was a phablet back in the day, when the word was invented, are pretty regular phones today. Is this adjustable somehow, to merge phones and phablets in the reports? When I go into the “Smartphone” device type, vast majority of iPhones are just listed as “iPhone”, no model number. Which is fine really, but when some comes in with model number but most don’t, I do feel like something is off with the tracking’s device recognition?
