Keep anchors in page URLs not working?

I have the option Keep anchors in page URLs enabled, but on this website the /#portfolio and /#contact-opnemen are not showing up in my PiwikPro reports:

What am I doing wrong here?

Hi. I guess the standard flow would be:

  1. A visit on the homepage
  2. Clicking on Portfolio to scroll the site to the given anchor

Keep in mind, that in this case, no new page view is recorded. The option you’re talking about indeed allows storing the URL fragments, but only assuming that the URL has been set before a full page refresh or SPA’s page view event.

My recommendation would be to trigger a virtual page view event after using those anchor links.
