Bit of a n00b question here:
A user comes to our site from a google ads click on a safari browser and accepts cookies on our website. The url is utm_tagged and has the gclid param. Does the piwik cookie only live for 24h in this case? Bit messy this

Which cookie are you asking about? Here is a list of our cookies: Cookies created for visitors by Piwik PRO | Data and cookies | Piwik PRO help center they all have information about their default lifespan. e.g. ppms_privacy_<appID> expires after 12 months. I am not aware of any Piwik PRO cookie with default lifespan of 1 day.
