Hello,

We faced issues with the WordPress plugin for some sites. As we understood by reading this topic, some additional parameters must be set depending on the WordPress theme that is used.

We often have clients that don’t have the technical knowledge to do such configurations. Therefore, we must take control over their WordPress to do it for them, which is not convenient. Anyone should be able to install Piwik PRO on any WordPress, by just following the instructions given in the installation tab:

Is there any update scheduled for the plugin that would allow it to properly and automatically work regardless of the theme that is used?

Hi Thomas,

our WordPress integration should work without any additional theme customization. However, sometimes theme authors don’t follow WordPress Theme development guidelines and don’t use the essential wp_body_open() function. Without this function, our plugin can’t place the JS snippet code in the theme.
