IP filter + Tracker Debugger

Hi,

we recently implemented the IP filter and it works properly. However, i would like to still see our requests in the tracker debugger (to still be able to debug tracking implementations easily) and only filter the data in reports. Is it possible to adjust the tag configuration in a way that if the url has this query parameter at the end “?_stg_debug=” we still see the internal traffic in the tracker debugger (even with the IP filter in place)? Our is there an easier way to solve this? Should we just add an segment to all reports to filter internal traffic? Am I missing any consequences?

If you want to only filter data in the reports, it would be easier for you to set up a segment and apply it to your reports instead of IP filtering. Here’s a handy article about setting up segments: Group visitors into segments | Piwik PRO help center.
