It seems the issue that Piwik Pro or Looker Studio sometimes switches existing data sources’ API Credentials in the background is not fixed.
user1@client.com set up a data source (Owner).
After user2@client.com (Data Source Editor) viewed that data source under Resources → Manage added Data Sources in the dashboard, suddenly the data source showed as belonging to user2@client.com. Suddenly all widgets were broken and requiring authentication.
When me (user3@client.com) (also Data Source Editor) then tried to reauthenticate, he saw only ANOTHER Piwik client on the first screen, but could not select the client in question. We had this problem before in the past, and it seems like there is a bug when the Google Account you are using in Looker Studio is also the one you are using in various Piwik Accounts or sth. But it maybe sth else.
This is absolutely deadly, because now I am completely frozen here and cannot even click Submit nor Authorize:
Update: In another browser, I was able to re-authenticate.
But then the shit happened again. user2@client.com started viewing the Data source and adding a calculated field, and suddenly the authentication credentials were switched to HIM, and since he is not the user of the data credentials (those belong to user1), everything is broken again!!!
