I can see there are a few topics around the site inspector but none quite like mine. So here it goes.
We have setup heatmap tracking via the standard guide provided by Piwik: About the site inspector for Chrome | Piwik PRO help center
I can see that the primary cta on a specific page on my website (anonymous) is clicked 966 via the site inspector for the time period 1 Apr 2026 - 17 Apr 2026, however, the custom events when I look at the same cta via a custom report in Piwik pro is only 126.
How should I interpret this data and why is there such a big difference?
I will share site and URL with Piwik Pro support team when we connect.
