Skilljar & Piwik PRO - Consent banner not working properly

Hello,

We installed Piwik PRO on Skilljar for one of our clients. They don’t have a documentation for installing Piwik PRO, but they have some for other solutions. We checked the one for Mixpanel to find out where to install the tracking code: https://support.skilljar.com/hc/en-us/articles/9585247581075-Sending-Data-to-MixPanel.

So we’ve put the tracking code in the “Analytics Tracking Code Snippet” box and at first, it all looks good. However, there is an issue when interacting with the Consent banner. After clicking on “Consent details” to choose the consents to give, when we click on one of the choices, the banner simply disappears. I have a screen record that shows this, I can share in private if needed.

Have you ever been confronted to this issue? Could this be due to some other scripts on the page that would be in conflict with Piwik PRO?

In parallel, we’ll ask the Skilljar team if we installed the code in the right place.

Hi @Thomas_Anode_FR,
Unfortunately, we will not be able to help you as much in this case as the container is injected into a site which may have a specific set of CSP rules or scripts that could prevent Piwik PRO requests from being sent.

What I would recommend doing is to get in touch with one of the Skilljar’s representatives and ask them about potential blockers on their side that are preventing the container from loading properly.
