Hello! I’ve created a funnel where I would like to include visitors who have completed an action, however also exclude those who have skipped another step. I added both custom events to the funnel, but it seems like the second one where I am excluding an action is not being processed at all. The goal is to see how many fulfill a step but skip another crucial step. I put in a screenshot of the setup in the funnel.
Is there anyone who can assist me in this?
Hi! These conditions refer to a single event that will be checked in the process, not a whole session (so basically this checks all custom events and filters out the ones that fit the conditions).
You won’t be able to check if someone fulfilled a step and also skipped another step in this one filter. You can however add optional steps to a funnel, so you could add the “skipped” event and see how many visitors completed it. This won’t affect other steps in your funnel.
Hi, thanks for the reply. I did the suggestion of adding the skipped event as optional in the funnel, but cannot see how many visitors skipped it, only completed it. Am i missing something?
